Second Life remains one of the most successful sandbox-style virtual worlds and offers a great outlet for the creativity of its users, despite its well-documented technical limitations. By “creativity”, I mean literally anything a user may do in-world: from taking selfie-style snapshots to making machinima and from building a small hovel to creating an entire virtual city. Of course, not everyone invests time, effort, and money, into creating something that only they’ll enjoy all by themselves. People generally want to share their creative efforts.Read Full Article

Lilo Denimore’s ChicChica is one of my favourite shoe stores; were it an RL shoe firm, I’m sure it’d be competing head-to-head with the likes of Giuseppe Zanotti, and it’d most likely lay claim to a fair bit of my income. I actually visit Lilo’s blog quite often, and her photos have given me inspiration for various outfits I’ve put together in the past. Recently, Lilo moved her shop to a new sim named ChicLand, and it didn’t take long for me to learn that this move was part of a more ambitious sim-building project: besides hosting her store, it’s also a fully-landscaped region open to visitors.Read Full Article
Having reclaimed my fetishes has also encouraged and enabled me to resume my use of RLV restrictions in Second Life. Now, it’s no secret that my main SL viewer on the desktop is Firestorm; however, there are occasions when I simply want to sneak into SL for a bit while I’m on the go. On those occasions, I use my two-years-old Android smartphone and Alina Lyvette’s Lumiya viewer (version 3.4.2, which seems to be the most recent one – please note that the website is now completely empty, save for its banner). Or at least I used to, until this week.
Before anyone says anything, I must point out I’m very much aware of Lumiya’s troubled recent history. Development seems to have stopped altogether way back in 2017, so what new developments it incorporates and implements, and to what extent, is a question that needs answering; in 3D view, animations never worked, and mesh bodies never looked right at all; to top it all off, it was removed from both LL’s Third Party Viewer Directory and Google’s Play Store. I continued to use it, though, because it closely followed my desktop viewer’s inventory folder structure, it was relatively convenient for keeping up with IMs, and SL profiles work pretty much like they do on the desktop. Now, though, I’ve noticed some particularly strange behaviour.Read Full Article

I’ve always been amused by the way most people in Second Life, especially those in the BDSM etc. communities, tend to position their “naughty” attachments – and by “naughty” I mean such attachments as anal and vaginal sheaths (usually for latex outfits), butt plugs, and the like. It’s just anatomically off. I’ll admit that those designers who make rigged mesh genitals and anuses are more diligent. But this is not usually the case with sex toys (especially anal ones), and it most certainly isn’t with BDSM-related avatar accessories: all too often, I see commercial photos on the SL marketplace with the anal toys inserted in the wrong place (i.e. where a human body doesn’t even have a cavity) and at the wrong angle. The same goes for vaginal toys that are attached to the avatar; wrong place, wrong angle. And I see these errors in photos on platforms like Flickr and DeviantArt, and I can’t help wondering if the people who make these toys and / or take these photos have ever actually seen a female body in the flesh.Read Full Article

Through all my years in SL, there’s always been a very special someone who’s always been there for me. She’s always been by my side, no matter what. She’s always been my confidante, my best friend, my rock. Now She’s my Mistress: Mistress Ani.
She holds the keys to my heart. She holds the key to my collar, and the keys to all of my RLV gear. She has overseen my transformation; She has encouraged and nurtured me while I was trying to bounce back, and while I was gradually coming back. She sealed and locked me in my latex. Forever. I am Hers. Forever.
It had to be You, Mistress… From the beginning. And now, it at long last, I am Yours; Your rubber doll; Your slut; Your submissive; Your property. As I should have been… From the beginning.
Your rubber doll adores You. ♥
